Trip Summary

Join us in October 2026 as Salem celebrates 400th birthday. Four centuries of sea air, candlelight, whispered legends, and defiant history. During Halloween week, that energy hums through every cobblestone and harbor breeze. This anniversary experience is designed for couples who want something cinematic. Mornings wrapped in crisp autumn light. Afternoons wandering historic streets. Evenings glowing with lanterns, costumed revelers, and the distant sound of the tide. You will stay just outside the chaos in refined comfort, then step into it when the mood feels right. Guided through Salem’s layered past, sailing its harbor under October skies, and stealing quiet moments in hidden gardens or along black coastal rocks while your love story is documented with intention and artistry.

For those who crave deeper lore, the journey can stretch beyond Salem into the darker corners of New England. A visit to the infamous Lizzie Borden House. Coastal villages in Mystic scented with cider and salt air. A night beneath thousands of glowing pumpkins at Roger Williams Park Zoo. Every detail is curated to feel intimate, romantic, and just a little bit wicked. This is not a crowded tourist trip. It is a chapter of your marriage written in candlelight during the most enchanted week of the year, in a city celebrating four hundred years of unforgettable stories.

Salem is a 400-year-old city with uneven paths and cobblestone streets. It is not 100% wheelchair or walker-friendly, and extended walking is required to fully enjoy the city. Guests are strongly encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as driving into Salem during October is challenging and time-consuming. Even with early arrival, the city will be busy, and wait times should be expected, especially on October 31st.

Should events need to change due to inclement weather, venue conflicts, or other unforeseen circumstances, contingency plans will be in place to ensure participants have a memorable experience. Such changes will not result in any refund, discount, or compensation of any kind.
